THURSDAY'S ARIZONA BUSINESS GAZETTE

This Thursday's Arizona Business Gazette will have the notice of my LLC listed, as will the following two weekly issues. Keep your eyes peeled.

A CREATIVE ENTERPRISE

In the interest of timeliness, I am announcing the formation of an LLC (that's Limited Liability Company for those of you in Rush Limbaugh's "Rio Linda" ; ) here on my blog having to do with web developments.

Just like land developers (sort of), web developers take it upon themselves to "develop" the digital landscape-- taking raw, uncoded territory and wreaking unlimited creativity on the otherwise barren wilderness on your (and my) screen.

I am purposely hinting at the strong probability that my company, which shall remain nameless until its official announcement comes through pending payment for services rendered by the appropriate periodical, shall be web-based.

I can say, however, that it will involve copy writing (not copyrighting), web site building ("authoring"), and so on. I trust the right projects will be provided by a sovereign God in due time. That would be my prayer.

DOWN TO BUSINESS

My blog post title today is meant to convey a sense of desperate urgency. I intend to start my own business in the form of an LLC (limited liability company), once my application for a name reservation has been approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission. Lord willing, I will figure out which direction to go and what to do to make this happen.

Of course, my prayer to the Lord is that He would guide and direct my steps. I do not want to stay unemployed. I see no other option to realistically make a living than doing it myself.

TO START OR NOT TO START...

I am continuing to entertain the idea of starting my own business as a web developer/designer/author/wannabe. I have been mentioning it to people I know and gauging their responses. Mostly positive.

AVOID WINDOWS 8 BETA LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Unless you are a glutton for PC punishment (and "fun"), DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL WINDOWS 8 BETA! It will mess with your programs, and force you to revert to your older version of Windows, and this may or may not go well...

You have been warned.

MONEY BLOG?

I still prefer Google Blogger to WordPress. I do not know for sure which came first. But I feel more comfortable if not intuitive using BlogSpot (or whatever it's called :).

Excuse me while I check on my toaster oven-baked honey wheat bread with spaghetti sauce and parmesan cheese. Mmmm...

While it cools, I will blog about waiting for God's direction in my life. I am betwixt two places: a job which gainfully employs me to make a living; and, doing odds and ends to scrape by (not that there's anything wrong with that).

With that, I will publish this post and hope for the best in terms of my pipe dream occupational choice of web design/copywriting, which for now means blogging ad infinitum.

WEB DEZINE

A guy has to be careful when he is blogging his heart out because someone with managerial clout might see what he (I) has (have ) blogged about and find something reprehensible enough to disqualify him from consideration for employment.

That should not be my concern. But it is.

Nevertheless, I soldier on.
