PROFESSOR MESSER A+ STUDY GROUP - SEPTEMBER 24, 2011

Here is a video from a YouTube channel I discovered recently.

The Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) has a website for A+ Certification. I am thinking of pursuing this for next year.

WIRELESS LINUX!!!

Well, the excitement just won't stop here at Web Developments!

It seems my Linux skills, such as they are (or are not, yet) have gotten my computer system which I inherited from my dad working upstairs... WIRELESSLY!!!

With all the trials and errors came limited success in fits, starts, and hiccups. Two steps forward, 3.0 steps back...

For some blessed-by-God reason, it's working almost like a true, wired connection! Hallelujah!

I am anxious to post this so I can get on with my evening...

LINUX BLOG?

I am entertaining the thought of starting a blog about my Linux experience. For those of you who do not know what Linux is, it is a free, open source computer operating system.

I will first post a few links to some websites, introducing the "free" (to use and change), "open source" (code is openly available to anyone), operating system (what runs your computer).

What to call the blog...

GOD GAVE US LIBERTY NOW

Well, now, is this not "uber" appropriate? That I am pecking out this blog post on an Android mobile device to be published under the rubric of "web developments?" Indeed, it is.

Perhaps it is credited to my recent (temporary) job loss that I am finding the time to pursue God and my interests in social media and the universe therein. I will not equivocate over what I feel and believe to be the greatest value of social media: the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

It is true that other channels of subject matter, such as news or entertainment, satisfy our basic, God-given need for social interaction. But by themselves, they leave the soul empty and longing for fulfillment in something other than today's world.

I am talking about resources available to all users in the free world -- an unfortunate distinction necessary in our fallen state -- which, indeed, because of making Christ the center of their message and means, afford their listeners/viewers/readers hope and peace in this life.

Let us protect that God-given right to pursue Him with every medium at our hands! The pen (keyboard) will prevail in the hearts of people who recognize their need for God's saving grace and liberty.

A TWEETED BLOG POST

The above posted tweet is courtesy of Twitter. I just wanted to see how it would look embedded in my blog.
